Rose Otto is a lovely oil to add to a base cream or lotion for use with sensitive and mature skin. It is known for its moisturising and hydrating properties and which may help with areas of redness and inflammation.

 

Its beautiful aroma is renowned and widely loved for its natural uplifting and relaxing properties, making it a suitable for use with a burner or vaporiser. The comforting scent of Rose has been used to help in times of grief, relieve stress and soothe feelings of anger or depression. It has similar actions when blended with a carrier oil for massage. It's particularly nice when blended with Rosehip or Peach Kernal. When used in massage it may also help to boost circulation and calm a busy mind. One either loves or hates the aroma of Rose. Those who dislike it may find it more acceptable when blended with an oil with a Base perfume note such as Sandalwood, Frankincense or Vetivert.
